What to expect from a Sound Journey Session
You will be seated in a comfortable chair in a cosy space for the duration of this session. Blankets are provided for your comfort.
Generally, it is more effective if you keep your eyes closed throughout the session as you will naturally go into a meditative state as the sounds/vibrations slow down your brain waves. This effortlessly shifts you out of the “beta” state (where we tend to be most of the time!) with the busy rapid pace of thoughts & being mentally engaged to the slower states where you will be resting but awake, maybe daydreaming or even accessing a different level of awareness.
Your experience will likely differ each time depending on how you are mentally, physically or emotionally but be assured you will naturally respond in the way that is best for you at that time.
You will likely reach a state of deep relaxation during the session, so it is advisable to give yourself a period of time after to allow the changes that have happened during the session to integrate (which will continue to do so for about 24 hours after you leave!) hence why I mainly offer the sessions in the evenings so that you can simply go home afterwards & have a good night’s sleep!
Bring a water bottle for your use as required during the session. There is the added bonus that there is a natural detox effect from the session (click the link below if you would like to see how) therefore do drink plenty of water over the following day or so to clear these out of your body effectively.
