About SAM

My journey into holistic health has been deeply personal.

My own life (and health) challenges shaped everything I went on to study — whether that was from years of copious amounts of reading, learning from holistic therapists globally or attending courses, to my professional training, they have all shaped what I now offer in practice.

Everything I offer — whether it's Homeopathy, Sound Baths, Gut Health, Vagal tone or Light therapy — have assisted my own healing process so I can personally speak to their effectiveness as supportive tools not just in helping to restore balance, but also their capacity to gently heal whilst respecting your own pace and process.

Music has always played a vital role in my life especially as an emotional level and balancer, so it felt like a natural step to bring this into my therapeutic work. Witnessing how sound can bring such profound shifts for participants in my Gong/ Sound Baths has been made me fully appreciate what a gift these instruments are.

WHAT BROUGHT ME TO Homeopathy

After spending 15 years of my early career working in corporate retail combined with 8 years of extensive travel as a senior buyer, plus (at that time) a “workaholic’ and “perfectionist” I found myself in my early 30’s being diagnosed with a digestive issue that I was told would require me being on medication “for the rest of my life”.

I was not prepared to accept that this was my fate which was when I discovered Homeopathy. With the rapid relief that I gained from my first prescription, I experienced firsthand the body's capacity to heal when given the right support.

This powerful experience inspired me to later train professionally at the College of Practical Homeopathy, where I started to develop my clinical expertise.

I have subsequently gained other qualifications, specifically around gut/brain health (Gut & Psychology Syndrome) recognising the impact of poor vagal tone and an imbalanced gut microbiome have on our neurological/mental and emotional processes.

My personal journey with sound

As a Grade 8 pianist I had an early calling to play musical instruments but this went by the wayside when career, then family life took over.

I went to my first Gong Bath in 2019 and was instantly blown away by how profoundly it impacted me. I went on to train with various leading Gong Masters/Sound Experts including Don Conreaux, a yogi and a pioneering figure in the field of sound therapy. I also intertwine my Shamanic knowledge of ceremony within my Sound Baths honouring these ancient practices within this field.

I feel very blessed to be able to combine a passion of mine with work and love how this takes me out to connect with people in lots of different places and communities, whether in an office, school or outdoors in nature at a festival, the participants all get the opportunity to experience the power of the gongs and sound which is a joy to witness and an honour to provide.
