About SAM

I bring to my work a combination of formal training from the Corporate Management world and a variety of qualifications in the field of Holistic Health, but just as importantly I share tools that have shaped my personal growth & healing - from recovering from stress & burnout, healing deeply buried emotional trauma and reconnecting with my intuition through restoring balance to my gut microbiome, nervous system and energy field. The tools that I used to reach this point of recovery are those I now use within my practice & it both my privilege and joy to witness others regain their health & vitality, not just physically, but mentally and emotionally too.

WHAT BROUGHT ME TO Homeopathy

After spending 15 years of my early career working in corporate retail combined with 8 years of extensive travel as a senior buyer, plus (at that time) a “workaholic’ and “perfectionist” I found myself in my early 30’s being diagnosed with a digestive issue that I was told would require me being on medication “for the rest of my life”.

I was not prepared to accept that this was my fate which was when I discovered Homeopathy. With the rapid relief that I gained from my first prescription, I experienced firsthand the body's capacity to heal when given the right support.

This powerful experience inspired me to later train professionally at the College of Practical Homeopathy, where I started to develop my clinical expertise. It was at this point that I realised that most of my physical issues in life had started as emotional suppression. I had learned to suppress my feelings (as it had felt “unsafe” to express them) and this was causing my digestive issues as I wasn’t able to “let my emotions out”, causing my nervous system to be in constant “fight or flight”/freeze/stress response.

Homeopathic remedies helped to gently remove these layers & I continue to be so grateful to have discovered this powerful tool both personally & to witness it in practice

Whilst training at CPH I became aware of the importance of a balanced microbiome. The link between the gut and neurodiversity was not well discussed or accepted at this point, but I intuitively understood that this was something that I wanted to explore further.

I went on to train with Natasha Campbell-McBride - a medical doctor (with post graduate degrees in neurology & nutrition) and the author of the book “Gut and Psychology Syndrome”

These days, due to stress, toxicity (& held emotional trauma) an imbalanced gut microbiome is extremely common. This leads to systemic inflammation and many of the processing issues that are linked with the expression of neurodiversity.

Rebalancing the gut microbiome with homeopathic remedies, diet and lifestyle have literally changed my life - I have more energy now that I did 20 years ago!

My personal journey with sound

As a Grade 8 pianist I had an early calling to play musical instruments but this went by the wayside when career, then family life took over.

Then I was invited to a Gong Bath in 2017. I had never heard of it – a Gong what?! I went along a little hesitantly but was blown away by how it impacted me and I knew this was something I wanted to explore further.

I went on to train with various leading Gong Masters/Sound Experts including Don Conreaux, a yogi and a pioneering figure in the field of sound therapy. Blending in some additional one on one sessions with experts in the field I started to understand an aspect that I had not yet considered about our wellbeing - FREQUENCY.

As we raise our frequency, so we raise our mood & vitality - this has been a game changer both for me personally but also with those who have attended my Sound Baths.

I feel very blessed to be working regularly with these wonderful instruments & witnessing how their effects can vary from simply experiencing deeper relaxation (especially helpful for those with dysregulated nervous systems or neurodiversity) to people accessing higher levels of awareness/consciousness.

 IN MY SPARE TIME

I live in a beautiful Georgian town and enjoy the balance of work (I also have a BnB Business) alongside my home life with 2 (now grown-up) daughters. and my 2 dogs! Walking the dogs and being in nature are some of the many pleasures in my life.

I decided to take a leap and buy a campervan this year and can be found at various festivals (either for work or pleasure), visiting sacred sites or simply enjoying a sunset!

I love to travel and was blessed to go to Australia & New Zealand last year to visit my daughters there.

Here I am recording the sound of water lapping on the shore of Lake Wanaka to use for my Sound Baths which I am recording & launching in 2026!

Pushing myself out of my comfort zone with Ziplining (fear of heights is now overcome!

Life is for having fun - “If not now, when?”
